In May 2011 ABRA Software Company and Check Point Software Technologies Ltd.. concluded an agreement to stop using "ABRA trademarks" by Check Point Software Technologies Ltd..

Both companies agreed in May 2011 that Check Point Software Technologies will respect the copyright of the ABRA brand in all countries where the brand is under ABRA Software Corp copyright protection. Check Point Software Technologies, which previously used the designation “Check Point Abra” for its integration into PC corporate structure technology, will rebrand its product.

The agreement of both companies is divided into three phases, which are defined by the gradual abandonment of the ABRA mark by Check Point Software Technologies. In the first step, Check Point Software Technologies will stop using the name ABRA in the Czech and Slovak Republic, in the next phases this will occur, in other European countries, where the brand is under copyright protection of ABRA Software Corp.
